The 27-year-old top seed outlasted Hong Kong’s third seed Henry Leung 11-7, 6-11, 3-11, 11-5, 12-10 in a grueling 3–2 summit clash. En route to his second title of 2026 and third career Tuanku Muhriz Trophy (following wins in 2022 and 2024), world No. 24 Singh overcame a first-round bye by defeating Malaysian opponents Low Wa Sern (3–1), Mohammad Syafiq Kamal (3–1), and Ameeshenraj Chandaran (3–2 in a 72-minute semifinal).
