The University of Mumbai has introduced an Apprenticeship Embedded B.E. Degree Programme under its Faculty of Science and Technology. Aligned with NEP 2020 and AICTE guidelines, the initiative bridges classroom learning with real-world industry demands.

Key Details

1. Target: Selected 7th & 8th-semester engineering students (capped at 15% of final-year class)
2. Training Requirement: Minimum 1,260 hours of practical experience to earn 42 academic credits
3. Eligibility: Minimum 6.75 CGPA by the end of semester 5 (higher CGPA preferred)
4. Exclusions: Students enrolled in Honours, Minor, or Research tracks are non-eligible
