After assaulting her, the teenager summoned his three friends—who were all under the influence of alcohol—to overpower, gang-rape, and stab her over six times before hiding her body under leaves and mud in a field near Kushak Road. Locals discovered her decomposed body on Sunday, September 13, prompting a multi-team investigation led by DCP Shobhit Saksena.
By scanning more than 50 CCTV cameras, tracking a suspicious tempo, and conducting overnight raids in Khadda Colony, police seized the weapons used in the crime and registered charges of murder, rape, and destruction of evidence against all four suspects.
