A designated fast-track court in Delhi, presided over by Special Judge Anu Grover Baliga, has taken on record the Central Bureau of Investigation's (CBI) chargesheet against 13 accused in the NEET UG paper leak case.
The chargesheet, filed under various provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), the Prevention of Corruption Act, and the Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, names paper experts, coaching center associates, middlemen, and beneficiary candidates for offences including criminal conspiracy, cheating, and destruction of evidence.
The court granted the CBI three days to scan and submit approximately 20,000 pages of supporting annexures, appointed advocates V K Pathak and Arjun Anand as public prosecutors, and scheduled the next hearing for August 3.
