The Bihar State Transgender Welfare Board has approved a proposal to construct a temple dedicated to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Patna to express gratitude for his efforts toward transgender rights and social empowerment.
Proposed by Board member Rajan Singh during the panel's inaugural meeting under the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019, the initiative was unanimously supported to provide the state's transgender community with its own dedicated place of worship.
