An 80-year-old retired ordnance factory manager, his wife, and their domestic help were allegedly stabbed to death by a plumber at their residence in Vishnu Lok Colony, Dehradun, following a dispute over a ₹300 payment.
The victims have been identified as 80-year-old K.S. Kapoor, his 76-year-old wife Rajni Kapoor, and their 55-year-old house help, Tiliya Devi.

- The Dispute: The suspect, who was hired for plumbing work at the house, demanded ₹600 for his services. The couple paid him ₹300, leading to a heated argument over the remaining amount.
- The Attack: As the argument escalated, the plumber allegedly attacked the couple and their house help with a screwdriver, inflicting severe injuries on all three.
- Emergency Response: Neighbors and authorities rushed the victims to a nearby hospital, where all three succumbed to their injuries during treatment.
Investigation and Arrest
Police launched an immediate investigation into the triple murder and managed to track down and arrest the accused plumber shortly after the incident. Further legal proceedings and questioning are currently underway.
