India's popular Big Boss franchise is gearing up for an unprecedented multi-edition launch on Sunday, September 6, 2026. The Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada editions are scheduled to premiere on the same day, with Salman Khan hosting Big Boss Hindi Season 20, Mohanlal returning for Malayalam Season 8, Vijay Sethupathi leading Tamil Season 10, and Kichcha Sudeepa hosting Kannada Season 13.
The simultaneous rollout marks a major expansion for the franchise, which has built a huge following across India. Jio Star says the four South Indian editions together have reached more than 300 million viewers and generated 270 billion viewing minutes. The Tamil edition has recorded 1.5 billion viewing minutes on its Season 9 debut, while Big Boss South's 24/7 livestream collectively crossed 11 billion viewing minutes.
