In response to the ongoing flood crisis disrupting communities across Assam, the Jodhpur-based non-profit organization True Hope Foundation has completed a major phase of its emergency humanitarian response. Through national donor support, the foundation successfully raised over ₹16 lakh and distributed more than 1,000 relief kits to impacted families.
The severe flooding left thousands without reliable access to clean water, food, healthcare, and hygiene supplies. To tackle the immediate threat of water-borne illness and infection, the foundation’s ground team delivered essential kits containing mosquito nets, sanitary pads, disinfectants like Dettol and Savlon, antacids, anti-itch creams, and mosquito-repellent dhoop. The drive has provided relief and dignity to over 2,000 individuals struggling to rebuild their lives.
Speaking on the initiative, Dhaval Darji, Founder of True Hope Foundation, highlighted the necessity of rapid and transparent disaster response, stating that the organization remains committed to aiding communities across India during times of crisis. With many families still requiring sustained support, medicines, and rehabilitation, the foundation is actively extending its campaign and inviting CSR partners and donors to assist in reaching more affected areas.
