Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna Battle British Oppression in 'Ranabaali' Teaser

The official teaser for Rahul Sankrityan's period action drama Ranabaali was released on Wednesday, September 9, showcasing Vijay Deverakonda as a fierce rebel leading a resistance against colonial British rule during the 1876–1878 South Indian famine.

Production house Mythri Movie Makers unveiled the official teaser for Ranabaali on Wednesday, September 9, offering a intense first look at director Rahul Sankrityan's upcoming pan-India period drama.

Set in 19th-century Rayalaseema against the devastating backdrop of the 1876–1878 Great Famine of Madras, the film stars Vijay Deverakonda as a warrior who rises to fight British colonial exploitation.

The Mummy actor Arnold Vosloo plays the antagonist, English governor Sir Theodore Hector, while Rashmika Mandanna portrays Jayamma, Ranabaali's wife and companion in the revolt. Backed by a musical score from Ajay-Atul, the action spectacle is scheduled for a multi-language theatrical release on October 16, 2026.
