Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) hosted the 4th edition of the UK-India HealthTech Accelerator Programme (2026-2028) in Manipal, organized in partnership with the UK Government and supported by the Bhubaneswar City Knowledge Innovation Cluster Foundation (BCKIC). The three-day event brought together 25 Indian HealthTech startups along with healthcare experts, investors, researchers, and policymakers to drive innovation and support solutions targeting global healthcare issues and the UK's National Health Service (NHS).
Following the program, six startups will be selected for a fully funded immersion trip to the UK to engage directly with its healthcare and investment ecosystem. Across its four editions, the program has attracted nearly 1,000 applications, supported over 75 companies, enabled seven startups to expand to the UK, and generated approximately £32 million in investment activity.
