On Tuesday morning, July 7, 2026, a tragic accident occurred in Jaipur when a truck crashed through an iron railing and drove over a roadside drain cover. Five children were standing on the cover at the time. The cover collapsed under the truck's weight, throwing all five children into the drain below.
Three of the children died on the spot. The other two were injured and taken to a nearby hospital. Local residents and police officers worked together to retrieve the bodies and rescue the survivors. A crane was later used to remove the damaged truck from the scene.
