A 22-year-old Flipkart delivery agent, identified as Vijay Mallikarjun Kamath by Bengaluru police, was taken into police custody following allegations of sexual harassment in Bengaluru. Police said that the accused reportedly gained entry to a woman's apartment by asking to use the washroom and subsequently exposed himself to her.
The incident has raised concerns about the safety protocols surrounding delivery personnel entering private residences and the protection of residents, particularly women, from harassment.
Authorities have initiated an investigation and the accused is in custody as the case proceeds.
