Rodali Bora, an Assamese dancer based in Birmingham, UK, has been actively promoting Assam’s Sattriya and Bihu dance forms across the United Kingdom. Her work introduces these traditional art forms to diverse audiences, preserving cultural roots and enhancing global appreciation for Assam’s heritage.

Bora began training in Bihu at two and a half years old and later devoted nearly two decades to mastering Sattriya under reputed gurus. She has performed over 225 times nationally and internationally and holds a Doordarshan B-grade Sattriya artiste status. The Ministry of Culture awarded her the CCRT National Junior Scholarship for Sattriya.

In 2026, she performed at the ICCR Foundation Day celebrations in Birmingham, at the High Commission of India in London, and during a UK Parliament programme linked to Auniati Satra’s head. She also featured in the Nritya Sangam event at The Nehru Centre, London, blending Sattriya with Kathak.

Her achievements include representing Assam at the 2023 G20 Summit in New Delhi and performing at key cultural festivals across India. In 2026, Deekshaa Arts awarded her the Youth Icon Award in Birmingham, recognising her impact in promoting Assamese culture globally.
