Kaylee Hottle, the 18-year-old deaf actress best known for her role as Jia in Godzilla vs. Kong and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, tragically died following a car crash in Frederick County, Maryland, on Tuesday morning.
Hottle was a passenger in a Honda Accord that veered off the road and hit a culvert, with investigators citing high speed as a likely contributing factor.
The news of her passing was shared by her father on social media and confirmed by her high school, the Texas School for the Deaf, as well as local authorities.
