Rohit Sharma faced intense scrutiny over his fitness ahead of the third ODI against England. The player silenced doubts by scoring a magnificent 138 off 110 balls, becoming the first Indian batter to score an ODI century at Lord's.

Chasing a challenging 388-run target, Rohit anchored the innings with a 147-run opening partnership alongside Shubman Gill, while Virat Kohli contributed 74 runs. India finished on 360/7, falling 27 runs short as England won the series 2-1. Despite the loss, Rohit's innings was the standout performance of the match.

Earlier, England posted a record 387/3, powered by Ben Duckett's 141, with Jacob Bethell scoring 91 and Joe Root unbeaten on 74. Rohit's historic century at the "Home of Cricket" ended India's long wait for an ODI hundred at Lord's and responded strongly to pre-match criticism.
