Naorem Roshibina Devi secured the silver medal in the women's 60kg Sanda wushu event on September 24, 2026, at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games in Japan. In the final, China's Zhang Xiaoyu defeated the Manipuri athlete 2–0, winning both rounds 5–0 to claim gold. Roshibina advanced to the title match after earning a 2–0 victory over Indonesia’s Thania Kusumaningtyas in the semifinals and a 5–0 quarterfinal win against Macao's Chu Man Sin.
The silver medal makes Roshibina the first Indian athlete in history to win wushu medals across three consecutive Asian Games editions, following a bronze in 2018 and silver in 2023. Her performance earned India its sixth silver medal of the 2026 Games and provided the sole medal for India's seven-member wushu contingent in Japan.
