Amazon has expanded its ultra-fast delivery service, Amazon Now, to over 120 cities across India, doubling its reach within two weeks ahead of the festive season.
The service offers thousands of products, including groceries, fresh fruits and vegetables, frozen foods, personal care items, fashion, beauty products, small appliances, and home and kitchen essentials.
Orders are fulfilled through nearly 800 micro-fulfilment and urban fulfilment centres.
In September, Amazon reported that Amazon Now had crossed $1 billion in annualised gross sales in India, based on the previous three-month period. The company plans to expand its service to more than 300 cities, strengthening its quick-commerce network across the country.
