Ultraviolette, an electric mobility company, is set to establish its BIGGA (Big Global Ambition) Factory in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. This move aims to expand its manufacturing capabilities and support growth in both Indian and international markets. The factory will be developed in phases, initially ramping up to a manufacturing capacity of 2.5 lakh vehicles annually. The infrastructure is designed to scale production to 5 lakh vehicles per year as demand grows.
The project is expected to create approximately 2,000 jobs in its initial phase. Employment opportunities are anticipated to increase over the next five years as operations expand. The BIGGA Factory will provide Ultraviolette with the capacity and infrastructure needed for its next growth phase, enhancing its ability to scale vehicle production domestically and internationally.
