Union ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh visited activist Sonam Wangchuk at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram on Tuesday. Wangchuk was shifted here from Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital following a Delhi High Court order. The meeting took place amid heightened attention on Wangchuk's advocacy and the protests associated with him.

Wangchuk was brought by ambulance under tight security and admitted to ICU 8. He is receiving treatment under the supervision of internal medicine specialist Dr. Sushila Kataria. This visit indicates direct government engagement with the activist and reflects a response to concerns raised through ongoing protests.
