The capital is preparing for a major cultural milestone as the year-long birth centenary celebrations of music icon and Bharat Ratna recipient Dr. Bhupen Hazarika reach their grand finale.
On November 29, the iconic Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi will host a national tribute celebrating the life, music, and legacy of "Sudhakantha". Organized by the Government of Assam, the event will bring together renowned artists, cultural figures, and performers from Assam and across India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also expected to attend the closing ceremony.
