Marvel Studios has released the first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and scheduled for release on December 18, 2026.
The film sets up a massive multiverse battle featuring Robert Downey Jr. returning to the MCU as villain Doctor Doom alongside the Avengers, Fantastic Four, Wakandans, Thunderbolts, and several X-Men, including Professor Xavier, Magneto, Cyclops, Mystique, and Gambit.
Highlights include Thor rallying the heroes against the threat and reuniting with Steve Rogers, who surprises him by wielding Mjolnir, with the sequel Avengers: Secret Wars following a year later.
