At least nine passengers died when a sleeper bus caught fire near the 33-kilometer marker on the Yamuna Expressway on the night around 11 p.m. on 23 September, Wednesday. The bus was traveling from Delhi to Mahua in Jhansi district, Uttar Pradesh. There were around 35 passengers onboard at the time of the incident.
