An eight-year-old girl in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh, was sexually assaulted by two minor boys. Authorities have registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
In Shamli district of Uttar Pradesh, an eight-year-old girl, who was playing near her house, was allegedly raped by two minor boys.
Following the incident, Circle Officer, Jitendra Singh, confirmed that legal action has been initiated against the accused under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
He also said that the girl has been sent for a medical evaluation.
