India produced a strong performance at the ISSF World Cup in Hangzhou, China, on July 27, as Esha Singh won the gold medal and Manu Bhaker secured bronze in the women's 25m pistol event. Esha topped the final with 40 hits to finish ahead of China's Zhang Yueyue, who claimed silver with 37, while Manu earned bronze with 28 after winning a decisive shoot-off.
The victory marked Esha's second individual ISSF World Cup gold medal of the 2026 season after her triumph in Munich, while Manu claimed her first individual World Cup medal of the year. Earlier, Manu qualified sixth with 586-20x and Esha advanced in eighth with 585-18x. The two medals also took India's overall tally in Hangzhou to three medals—one gold, one silver and one bronze.
