- The build utilizes a 1.3-litre Ford Ikon petrol engine, a fibreglass body, laminated glass, and 3D printing.
- Motor vehicle rules prohibit driving the replica on public roads, restricting its use to his courtyard.
- The four-year engineering project realized Unni's long-standing effort to craft his dream car.
Aromal Unni, a 24-year-old engineering student from Kerala, has constructed a functional Lamborghini replica for ₹13 lakh. Initiated in 2021, the four-year project features a 1.3-litre Ford Ikon petrol engine paired with custom-built components, including a fibreglass body shell, laminated glass, and custom 3D-printed elements. Due to existing motor vehicle regulations that ban unregistered modified vehicles from public roads, Unni keeps the vehicle off public streets, operating it strictly within his own courtyard.
