Pakistani boxer Qudratullah went missing from his hotel room in Glasgow around 2 AM, just hours before Pakistan's 21-member Commonwealth Games contingent was set to return home. Officials discovered his disappearance at 9 AM during assembly, though his passport and return ticket remain with the team manager.
This follows a similar incident last year when another Pakistani boxer, Zohaib, went missing in Italy.
Pakistan concluded its 2026 Commonwealth Games campaign with just one bronze medal won by Fatima Zahra in the women's 60kg boxing category, marking the nation's poorest performance at the Games in 36 years.
