During his visit to Melbourne, PM Narendra Modi used cricket analogies to describe the strong India-Australia relationship, comparing their focused agenda to a One Day International, their swift decision-making to a T20 match, and their enduring partnership to a Test match.

Both countries also agreed to expand sports cooperation and invest in infrastructure as they prepare to host major upcoming events, including the Olympic and Commonwealth Games.

The two leaders also condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Pahalgam and Bondi Beach and agreed to enhance regional information sharing to counter threats and online radicalization.

The leaders also announced an atomic cooperation agreement aimed at enhancing bilateral nuclear collaboration, describing it as a significant step in their partnership.
