In a ceremonial event held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, President Droupadi Murmu presented the prestigious President’s Cup of the Durand Cup Tournament 2026 to the winning team, East Bengal Football Club.

The occasion was marked by the presence of key leaders from India’s defense forces, including:

  1. General N.S. Raja Subramani, Chief of Defence Staff and President of the Durand Football Tournament Society
  2. General Dhiraj Seth, Chief of Army Staff (Vice President of the Society)
  3. Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh, Chief of Air Staff (Vice President of the Society)
  4. Admiral Krishna Swaminathan, Chief of Naval Staff (Vice President of the Society)

Officials and players from East Bengal FC attended the ceremony to celebrate their victory alongside top military and government dignitaries.
