The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the Re-NEET UG 2026 results along with the revised category-wise qualifying cut-off marks. Although the qualifying percentiles remain unchanged, the minimum qualifying scores have increased across all categories due to the overall performance of candidates.
This year, Aryan Gupta of Punjab and Panshul Bansal of Haryana emerged as the top scorers, securing 715 out of 720 marks in the re-examination. A total of 19 candidates scored above 700 marks, while 138 candidates secured more than 690 marks. Of these top 138 candidates, 93% cleared NEET on their first attempt, and 99% were between 17 and 19 years of age.
Female aspirants dominated this year’s results, making up over 58% of those who qualified. They also edged out male candidates in the pass rate, with 56.8% of women clearing the test compared to 55.1% of men.
Overall, 11.21 lakh candidates have qualified the examination and are now eligible to participate in the counselling process for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other undergraduate medical courses. The detailed counselling schedule is expected to be announced soon.
