World No. 1 and reigning world champion Sheetal Devi claimed her first individual World Archery Para Series title on home soil at the Sabarmati Riverfront. In a closely contested women's compound final, the 19-year-old archer edged out Kazakhstan's Aizada Seidan in a shoot-off after both athletes finished regulation tied at 144-144. Devi delivered a decisive 10 in the shoot-off against Seidan's 9 to seal the victory. The performance capped a dominant campaign in which Devi also set a mixed team qualification world record of 1,400 points alongside Rakesh Kumar, helping lead host nation India to an overall haul of 15 medals.
