Activist Sonam Wangchuk ended his indefinite hunger strike shortly after midnight at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram. The fast was called off in the presence of Union Minister JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh. He stated the decision followed prolonged negotiations with the government and was taken "in view of possible violence in the country," according to a post on X.
CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke welcomed Mr. Wangchuk's decision to end his 26-day hunger strike but confirmed that the party's protest will continue until Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigns.
