Spain advanced to their first World Cup final since 2010 after a dominant 2-0 win over France in Arlington, Texas.

From the start, Spain completely controlled the game by dominating possession and shutting down France’s highly anticipated attack, allowing France only two shots on target. Spain took the lead in the 22nd minute when Mikel Oyarzabal scored from the penalty spot. Pedro Porro doubled the lead just before the hour mark.

While France coach Didier Deschamps and star forward Kylian Mbappe admitted their team was technically outperformed and lacked energy, Spain will now face either England or Argentina in Sunday's final, with a chance to complete a World Cup-European Championship double.
