On Thursday, July 23, 2026, over 100 students, activists, and local residents in Thrissur, Kerala, took part in a demonstration organized by the Thrissur Solidarity Committee to support the ongoing NEET-UG paper leak protests at Delhi's Jantar Mantar.
The rally proceeded from the Accountant General’s Office near Vadakke Stand to the Central Post Office, where it concluded with a public gathering.
Speaking to attendees, author Sarah Joseph emphasized that the protests represent more than a demand for Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to step down. Instead, she argued, they challenge a corruption-ridden education system developed over 12 years under the BJP administration, highlighting that about 152 paper leaks have occurred since 2014.
