WWE champion Dalip Singh Rana, known as The Great Khali, extended his support to flood-affected people in Assam during a two-day visit to Sivasagar district. He participated in a relief-material distribution programme at Dorika Kaibarta village, organised by the True Hope Foundation and Ayan and Deeplina Deka Foundation. Essential items such as beds, mattresses, fans, and water filters were handed out to affected families.
The following day, Khali visited Chumani village in Nazira and later Tengahola at Bamun Pukhuri, where he joined an ongoing house-construction initiative for flood victims. He inaugurated a newly constructed house at the site and laid the foundation stone for a proposed Hanuman temple, both under the initiative of the aforementioned foundations.
Khali praised the volunteers and organisations involved, wishing strength for their efforts to build over 100 houses for the displaced families. His presence encouraged both the flood victims and those engaged in rehabilitation and reconstruction activities.
