The Indian men's badminton team earned a bronze medal at the 2026 Asian Games following a 1–3 semi-final defeat against China on September 23, 2026. China took the initial lead in the tie when Shi Yuqi defeated Lakshya Sen 21–16, 21–18 in the opening singles match. Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty leveled the overall score at 1–1 by defeating Liang Weikeng and Wang Chang 21–11, 22–20 in the first doubles match. China regained the lead as Li Shifeng defeated Ayush Shetty 21–19, 21–13 in the second singles rubber, before He Jiting and Liu Yi sealed the 3–1 victory for China by overcoming Hariharan Amsakarunan and M. R. Arjun 21–16, 17–21, 21–9 in the second doubles match.
The bronze medal marks India's fifth men's team podium finish in Asian Games badminton history, following silver in 2023 and bronze medals in 1974, 1982, and 1986. India reached the 2026 semi-finals after defeating Japan 3–0 in the quarter-final round on September 22, 2026.
