At the 23rd National Level Meeting between India and Myanmar, the Myanmar government assured India's Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Wednesday (July 8, 2026) that its territory would not be used to launch aggressive actions against India.

After reviewing security conditions along the border, both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to maintaining peace and stability in the region.

The ongoing cooperation aims to prevent cross-border violence and maintain a peaceful environment, reinforcing mutual trust and collaboration between India and Myanmar.
