The Bihar government, led by the Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, has introduced the ‘Chief Minister Bihar Heli-Tourism and Air Tourism Service Scheme-2026’ to boost tourism in the state. The booking window officially started on July 13, 2026 and the services are scheduled to operate every Saturday and Sunday beginning July 18, 2026.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Choudhary explained that the goal is to position Bihar prominently on the global tourism map. He noted that the new initiative will transform the state's tourism industry while allowing residents to enjoy affordable aerial tours.
