In the Kellam area of Kulgam district, Jammu and Kashmir, a terrorist attack targeted non-local workers, resulting in one casualty from Chhattisgarh and another worker injured.
In response, security forces led by Jammu and Kashmir Police cordoned off the region and launched a search operation to track down and neutralize the perpetrators, while the injured labourer was rushed to the hospital for urgent treatment.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha condemned the attack, confirmed discussions with top security officials including DGP Nalin Prabhat, directed forces to eliminate those responsible, and extended condolences to the victim's family.
