A City Armed Reserve police constable, Shivakumar Nariboli, 30, was found dead inside a stationary patrolling vehicle at Jagat Circle in Kalaburagi, Karnataka, on Tuesday night. Police said he reportedly died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound involving his service rifle.
Police believe the constable's death was likely due to personal reasons. A forensic investigation is underway, and a formal probe will begin if the family files a complaint.
