Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy met with Union ministers in New Delhi to seek early approvals for key infrastructure projects aimed at transforming the state's road and aviation networks. He requested the immediate start of construction on the Northern Regional Ring Road, stating that nearly 95% of land acquisition is complete. He also urged simultaneous approval for the Southern Ring Road to reduce costs and speed up completion.
The Chief Minister proposed additional projects including a greenfield highway connecting Hyderabad to Amaravati, a 12-lane expressway from Bharat Future City to Machilipatnam Port, faster forest clearances for the Mannanur–Srisailam elevated corridor, and a six-lane alternative highway between Mancherial and Hyderabad.He further sought the development of Warangal and Adilabad airports into international-standard hubs featuring MRO facilities, cargo terminals, aircraft hangars, and flight training centres.
These initiatives aim to improve connectivity, boost trade and tourism, attract investments, and promote balanced regional development across Telangana.
