On Thursday evening, a 21-year-old woman named Lavanya was killed in a machete attack at the KSRTC New Bus Stand in Bantwal, Karnataka.
While she was waiting for a bus around 6 p.m., the accused, identified as Chetan, pulled a machete from his bag, chased her down, and killed her before fleeing the scene.
The entire incident was captured on camera, and the murder weapon was left behind. Police are currently searching for Chetan, and the motive behind the attack is still unknown.
