A 15-year-old Class 10 student, Vishnupriya Pai, from Alva’s Central School in Moodbidri, Karnataka, has earned a place in the Golden Book of World Records for her unique exam-stress awareness campaign. From August 24 to September 11, 2026, she reached more than 4,500 students across 51 schools in 15 days.

Vishnupriya travelled across Hassan, Kodagu, Bengaluru, Udupi and Uttara Kannada districts, conducting one-hour sessions for fellow students. Her workshops focused on managing exam stress, time management, effective study techniques and practical ways to prepare for examinations. Her approach stood out because she herself, as a student, led the sessions for peers facing similar academic pressure.

Her interest in mental health, counselling and psychology began when she was in Class 6, and she later completed online courses through Indian Counselling Services. The Golden Book of World Records monitored and recognised her initiative as a world record, with the official certificate scheduled to be presented on October 1, 2026, in the presence of Dr M. Mohan Alva, chairman of Alva’s Education Foundation.
