A Sunday family outing to the Bhavli Dam and waterfall area in Nashik's Igatpuri turned into a nightmare when a group of men allegedly sexually harassed a female family member.
When the Bhagwat family objected, the men became aggressive, attacking them with wooden sticks and iron rods and severely vandalizing their vehicle. To save their lives, the family sped away, but the attackers chased their car for nearly 15 kilometers, attempting to strike them at multiple points and leaving them terrified.
A case has been registered based on the family's complaint, and joint teams from the Nashik city and rural police are currently searching for the fleeing suspects.
