With six weeks remaining before the 2026 U.S. midterm elections, Republican national committees hold about $233.4 million in cash, compared with $130.4 million for Democrats, resulting in a $103 million financial advantage for Republicans. This gap is further reinforced by Trump-aligned groups, including MAGA Inc., which holds nearly $416 million.
Republican and allied groups have also planned approximately $888 million in advertising through Election Day, compared to about $666 million for Democrats and their allies. Despite the Republican financial advantage, Democrats currently lead in national polling, setting the stage for a closely contested race for control of Congress in the final weeks.
At the individual committee level, Republicans hold more House campaign funds, while Democrats have greater cash reserves in their Senate committee.
These figures highlight a significant disparity between the parties' campaign resources and their polling positions as Election Day approaches.
